Discussion Leaders, here are some suggested questions for use in your Book Club conversation:
"Sleeping Over" questions
- What are the primary strengths of each woman, and what role do you think she plays in the group?
- What are the primary faults of each woman, and how does that seem to impact her friends?
- Why do you think Lilith is so prone to bad choices in her men? How do you feel about her behavior with Martin? With Noah? With Jay? What about the gay men in her life, Nico and Tyler and Bill?
- Beth seems to be plagued by men from her past. What do her histories about each of them say about her?
- Anne is the youngest and least experienced of the group when it comes to men. Do you think the others take her seriously? Does she take herself seriously?
- Robin takes a very long time to confess her feelings to Michael, and only then after he asks her outright. Should she have told him sooner?
- Jess and Harrison go through one of the hardest things a couple can face. Do you think they will be able to stay together?
- Jess calls out each of her friends at Robin’s party for their behavior. Is she right about them?
